Abstract

Purpose:Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers that affects women in the world. Deaths from cervical cancer are projected to rise by almost 25% over the next 10 years. One of the reasons is a mother's lack of knowledge about early screening of cervical cancer and doing Pap Smear.Methods: To find out the relationship between knowledge and early prevention of cervical cancer through Pap Smear. This type of research is cross sectional analytical with sampling techniques using purposive samplings. Results: The result was a decrease in the depression rate of 63.3%, a moderate 23.3% and a weight of 13.3%. The analysis obtained a value of 0,000 which showed a significant difference between before and after the action of the Guide Imagery in children suffering from depression in the village of Sarampad Cianjur.Conclusion: This research shows a link
between Knowledge and Early Prevention of Cervix Cancer through Pap Smear.
